Front End Developer

I'm a front end developer passionate about bringing websites to life. And I'll admit I have an advantage over a lot of other programmers because I spent nearly a decade working in publishing. I already know what it's like to work on dozens of different projects at the same time, each with different deadlines and different players involved, from my work as a project manager. It's made me deeply organized and a clear and efficient communicator. I have a visceral understanding of the importance of attention to detail and the ability to read closely for errors, which comes from my work as a copyeditor. And nothing sums up the experience of working on books more than successfully working independently on your individual piece (e.g., typesetting a book using the same HTML you use to code a website) while also working in perfect harmony as a member of the project's whole team of editors and authors and designers.

I can't wait to help you bring your vision to life!
